It’s a rather surprising scene that took place in an American plane connecting the city from Salt Lake City to Honolulu. In full flight, a woman then feels contractions that will literally lead to … at her childbirth.
Completely surprised and taken aback, the flight crew as well as the passengers wonder how a woman, pregnant at such an advanced stage, could have taken the plane. The reason is actually quite… unusual!

” Hi Mom ? I will be born on the plane… ”
By taking this plane, Lavinia Mounga definitely wasn’t expecting to experience this. And yet … While the flight is in full swing tens of kilometers above the ocean, this woman is suddenly seized with contractions. Not understanding what is happening to her, a nurse on the plane comes to check on him. After a few moments, she understands that a little baby is about to appear.
After several minutes of work, Raymond is born, much to the surprise of all the passengers, but especially his mother. “I sat down next to her father to find out how she was able to fly at this stage of the pregnancy. He said they didn’t even know she was pregnant ”, then confides a traveler.

A very premature baby
If Lavinia did not necessarily understand that she was pregnant, it is also because her baby was not quite ready to be born. at just 26 weeks, or about 6 months pregnant. Considered by doctors to be very premature, Raymond is doing very well today, and was taken care of, like his mother, as soon as he got off the plane. “Lavinia and her baby will stay in Hawaii longer, while Raymond is healthy enough to return home to Utah”, explains the baby’s aunt. Decidedly, planes will always have their share of surprises!
